The goal of the I am ISC code of conduct is to bring awareness to the behaviors and attitude that the ISC community as a whole strives to embody. It is part of our continuous effort to maintain a positive school climate in the elementary, middle, and high school classes, as well as among the teachers and staff at ISC. The I am ISC code of conduct asks for the commitment and effort of the entire community to teach, reinforce, and maintain our 8 pillars. I am ISC: I am caring; I am thoughtful; I am exceptional; I am honest; I am helpful; I am responsible; I am respectful; I am internationally minded. I am ISC is used to encourage and maintain pro-social behaviors in order to deter and extinguish inappropriate social behaviors of isolation, exclusion, and bullying. Hence, emphasis is placed on teaching appropriate and desired behaviors rather than highlighting the undesired behaviors.
