As the Secondary School Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director, it is my privilege to be part of a vibrant and diverse learning community here at the International School of Curaçao.
Physical education and sport play a vital role in the holistic development of our students. Beyond improving physical fitness, they foster resilience, teamwork, leadership, and a lifelong appreciation for health and well-being. In our program, we strive to create an inclusive environment where every student feels encouraged to participate, challenge themselves, and grow—regardless of their starting point or ability.
Our curriculum is designed to inspire a love of movement while developing essential skills and knowledge that extend far beyond the playing field. Through a wide range of activities, competitive opportunities, and interscholastic events, students learn the value of discipline, respect, and perseverance.
As Athletic Director, I am proud of the spirit, sportsmanship, and dedication shown by our student-athletes. They represent our school with integrity and pride, both locally and internationally. We are committed to providing opportunities that allow each student to excel, build confidence, and create lasting memories through sport.
I look forward to continuing to grow our program and supporting students in their physical, mental, and social development.
Yours in sport,
Jos Nous
