The International School of Curaçao’s Daniel Cwik Memorial Scholarship is established to support the education of highly motivated and talented students residing in Curaçao who owing to financial reasons could not otherwise enroll at the school.

ISC seeks to enroll students who will add to the already diverse population and who will contribute to the excellence expected at the school. Students applying for a scholarship will have to show proof of financial need, and excellence in their education.

Read the requirements and steps in this document carefully.

  • Turn in your Student Application form (with a short story about yourself) to the ISC Main Office, together with the other papers listed here.

  • Two Teacher/Educator Recommendation Forms filled in by teachers/head of school who can verify student’s academic and personal performance.

  • In May 2024, ISC’S Board of Directors voted unanimously to change the name of the school’s annual scholarship to The Daniel Cwik Memorial Scholarship in honor of Mr. Cwik and his lasting impact on the community.

Mr. Cwik worked at ISC from 2004 to 2022 teaching various subjects but best known by his former students for his IB History and Model United Nations classes. His contributions to the school went beyond the classroom having served on various committees for the school’s accreditation and strategic plan.

Mr. Cwik was loved and revered by students, parents, and colleagues. His tenure at ISC imbued a sense of belonging at the school and the island’s community. His unmistakable love for Dushi Korsou was evident and he considered the island his home.

Through this scholarship, we will keep his memory alive for years to come.
