The ISC Legacy Fund

Empowering ISC's Future Through Community Giving

Welcome, and thank you for considering a gift to the Legacy Fund. ISC’s modest beginnings were in 1968 with nine students across grades 1 to 4 under the roof of shared facilities with the Hebrew Religious School in Mahaai. In 1971, it was formally registered as Stichting International School of Curaçao and recognized as a non-profit educational institution by the government of Curaçao.

Throughout the next decades, change has been the only constant; the school’s student population grew, and the location changed twice. Globally recognized academic programs and accreditations were earned and the school maintained focus on providing the best possible education for both expatriate and local students. While there has long been an ebb and flow of expatriates, ISC has always filled critical need by offering an English-based curriculum.

The achievements of the school would not have been possible from funding through tuition and fees alone. With the help and generosity of private individuals, businesses, alumni, our faculty, staff, and board members, ISC has been able to achieve its goals.

As we look to the future for ISC’s students we are excited to open the Legacy Fund. On the heels of two generous gifts in 2025, we are appealing to the broader community to support ISC’s short- and long-term goals. The commitment we make today paves the way for those who follow.

Sincerely,

Douglas Vaughan - Director
